Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 August 2026

ListingLeak is operated from Québec, Canada. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. If anything here is unclear, email info@listingleak.ca and we'll answer plainly.

What we collect

When you submit the intake form, we collect only what you enter into it:

We do not collect or store payment card details at any point. Payments are handled entirely by our payment processor, and card information goes directly to them — it never reaches our systems.

How we use it

Your information is used for one purpose: producing and delivering the audit you purchased. We review the publicly visible content of the listing URL you provide, assess it alongside the context you've given us, prepare your report, and email it to you.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Automated analysis

Preparing your report involves automated systems, including AI-assisted analysis, working within a proprietary framework we've developed. Your listing content and the context you provide are processed through that framework to produce your audit. Your information is not used to train third-party AI models.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of established third-party providers to operate — for payment processing, secure data storage, website hosting, automated analysis, and email delivery. Each receives only the information necessary to perform its function, and each is bound by its own privacy obligations. We do not publish our specific vendor list, as our operational setup is proprietary; if you have a genuine concern about how a particular category of your data is handled, contact us and we'll address it directly.

Where your data is processed. Some of our providers operate servers outside Canada, including in the United States. By using ListingLeak, you understand that your information may be processed and stored outside your province or country, where different privacy laws may apply.

How long we keep it

We retain submissions so we can honour refund requests, answer questions about a past report, and maintain accurate business records. If you'd like your information deleted, email us and we'll remove it, except where we're required to retain records of a transaction.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your information. Email info@listingleak.ca and we'll respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not currently use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including restricted access to our systems and two-factor authentication on the accounts that hold it. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — but we treat your data as something we're responsible for, not something we're entitled to.

Children

ListingLeak is intended for adults operating short-term rental listings. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Material changes affecting how we handle your information will be reflected before they take effect.
